Amy Of Darkness

"Jeffrey With Two Fs and Three Eyes" 2003, oil on wood - approx 27"x36"
A work in progress. Will feature a wheel with rotating eyes and protruding plaster ears when completed. Wooden areas behind painting represent an extension of my easel to support the piece, and will not be visible in the finished product.

"Kinski Panel" 2003, oil on wood - 9"x9"
A selection from a work in progress. Panels will be interchangeable within a large structure of a human face.

"Udo" aka "Baby's First Chuck Close Ripoff" 2002, acrylic on plastic - approx 8'x8' (with detail)
A recreation of a pixelated portrait. Realized in plastic bags soaked in appropriately tinted acrylic paint, which were then installed in paper cups and attached to silver insulation board.

"The Many Faces of Horror" 2002, oil on wood - each panel 11.5"x11.5" - approx 4.5'x4.5' when hung together
When being shown in galleries, these panels are installed over a square section of wall that has been painted black.

"Page 2" 2001, oil on canvas paper - 13"x20" and "Page 10" 2001, oil on canvas paper - 13"x20"
Both of these pages are selected from my fully-painted comic book reinterpretation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula's Guest".

"Crazy Daddy" 2000, oil on canvas - approx 8"x12"
Portions of this oval canvas were cropped in the scanning process so that I could more quickly construct this site for you.
